The Life Street

Creating a program for children in the streets to have a better chance for planning their future and acting as positive change agents for themselves and in their communities

The project is accomplishing its overall objectives by adding a new components to the streets, which is, a non-formal education program. The program is developing the children soft skills and basic knowledge through interactive activities that are held in the public spaces of streets and spaces were the targeted children are gathered. The main themes the project is addressing are: life skills, basic illiteracy eradication, self protection and social values. These are delivered through interactive tools, which are puppet theater, storytelling, interactive streets walls, songs and poetry.
