Yarn Bombing

United Kingdom / Édimbourg

Making people want to take another look at the public space around them with fashionable urban graffiti knit

Launched in 2005, this practice consists in decorating the public space with knitted cotton or wool yarns. Buildings, traffic signs and other barriers ... everything can be decorated! And everyone can get involved easily in this movement regardless of their skills or their age. The proof with the doyenne of the movement, Grace Bret, who became a "street artist" recognized worldwide at the age of 104!
