Building a zero waste city by rehabilitating the work of street collectors
Waste collectors and recyclers (cans and bottles) suffer from stigma and marginalization in North American urban areas. A citizen group has set up an empowerment program, called "Binners", by organizing events, workshops and trainings so that they become true "zero waste" ambassadors for the city.
