Created in a first time to offer a solution for the elderly people of Tepito district, having lost their home during the earthquake of Mexico City of 1985, COMPARTE has become a real center of life for them. Dance classes, cultural outings, organization of banquets and parties, distribution of meals, visits to the sick and isolated people ... the objective is that each member of the association is an actor of the life of the community and that the whole services are provided by the beneficiaries themselves.

Founder tips

  • "Surround yourself with people who share the same idea because everyone can bring something. Success is to have, with others, a dream to achieve, to unite, to fight, to seek and to achieve."
