The city of Mexico faces many water shortages especially in the heights where the inhabitants have immense difficulties to obtain a continuous supply of water. Faced with this situation, Enrique Lomnitz and the team of Isla Urbana decided to intervene by proposing, on the basis of a close collaboration with the inhabitants of the district, the installation of an ingenious system of water recovery rain. Thanks to this system, thousands of families now have access to running water 365 days a year.
